Ward, Ruth E. passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 22, 2015, at Bronson Commons in Mattawan. Age 76. Ruth was born in Gaylord, MI on February 27, 1939, the daughter of the late Richard Zang and Lavina Greenman Zang. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, gardening, and bird-watching.
She was married to Edward J. Blair, who preceded her in death. She was married to Paul Robert Ward, who also preceded her in death. Ruth is survived by two children, Carleen L. Brian Burns and Paula R. Gustafson; five grandchildren, Jessica C. Gehrman, Tiffany J. Trevor Galbraith, Travis P. Burns, Robert P. Gustafson, and Brandon A. Burns; one great-grandchild, Addison Galbraith; one sister-in-law, Mary Lee Paul Wiltse; and several aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Ruth was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Jayne Ward; one grandson, Ben Gehrman; and one sister and one brother, Shirley and Chester Zang.
