Ruth E. (Martyn) Schuda, 70, of Ottawa, formerly of Oglesby, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Schuda was born on April 27, 1946 in Peru to Russell and Agnes Martyn. She married Stephen Schuda on September 19, 1970 in St. Valentine’s Church in Peru.
She worked as a cashier at Wal-Mart in Ottawa. She is survived by her two children, Annette (Bryan) Duffy of Mount Prospect and Raymond Schuda of Ottawa; two grandchildren, Ashley and Connor Duffy; two brothers, Robert (Susan) Martyn of Oglesby and William (LuAnn) Martyn of Oglesby. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Stephen Schuda.
