Norwich- Ruth E. Fellows, 84, of Mechanic St. died Sunday, November 18, 2012 at the William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich.
Ruth was born in Willimantic, Ct on September 14, 1928 daughter of the late Edward and Florence Neff. She worked for many years in housekeeping at the W.W. Backus Hospital and she also worked for about 15 years as a foster grandparent. Mrs. Fellows was a member of the Preston City Congregational Church in Preston.
She was predeceased by her husband Thomas Fellows, Sr., two sons Thomas Fellows, Jr. and Wayne Fellows and a daughter Cindy Fellows.
Ruth is survived by a daughter Debra Vincent of Norwich, five grandchildren, Jody Fellows, Matt Connor, Heather Fellows, Michael Fellows and Jessie Fellows, four great grandchildren, Kaelin Boone, Zachary Addison Connor, Alexis Connor and Matthew Connor, Jr. She was also survived by a lifelong friend Debbie McClimon.
