Ruth Evangeline (Horn) Kyles, 93, of Ottawa, died January 18, at the Ottawa Pavilion.
Mrs. Kyles was born on December 4, 1913, in Lincoln, NE, to Elza and Edith (Johnson) Horn. She attended the University of Nebraska. She married Raymond George Kyles on April 12, 1936 in Lincoln, NE. He died on June 6, 1962. She retired as a Beautician after 53 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Ottawa, the Martha Mary Circle, and the Starved Rock Cosmetology Association.
She is survived by two daughters; Janet (LaVerne) Kastman of Ottawa and Karen (Robert) Woznica of Moorstown, NJ; six grandchildren, Dawn Watts, Laura McNames, Rebecca Doland, Kathleen Fuse, Deborah and Kimberly Kastman; 9 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband on June 6, 1962, and one sister, Alice Lorene Horn. Pallbearers will be David, Jacob, and Justin Watts, Randy and Michael Foster, and Mark McNames.
