Ruth E. (Jacoby) Richards, 101, of Kirkland Village, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 16, 2022. She was the wife of the late Robert D. Richards. Born in North Catasauqua, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Bader) Jacoby. Ruth was a graduate of Liberty High School. Before marrying, she worked as a Secretary for the Bethlehem Steel in the billing department. She was a member of Christ Church, UCC, Bethlehem.
Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her son Thomas R. Richards and his wife Carol of Austin, TX; daughter in law Rebecca Richards of Nazareth; sister Carol Torok and her husband Thomas of Bethlehem; grandchildren Tracy Richards, Melissa Richards Miller, Daniel Richards and Mark Richards; great grandchildren Teagan, Hannah, Patrick, Alex and Gavin as well as many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son James D. Richards and siblings Dorothy Szankovics, Mary Woods and Paul Jacoby.
