Ruth E. Hutchinson, 94, formerly of Hellertown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at Moravian Hall Square, Nazareth. She was the wife of the late Herbert E. Hutchinson and the late Lewis P. Emerich. Born in Middletown, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Margarette (Nickey) Shetron. She volunteered at Muhlenberg Hospital for many years, and was a member of Mountain View Moravian Church, as well as the Plaza Art League of Hellertown. Survivors: daughter Marilyn Emerich of Bellaire, TX; son Douglas P. Emerich and his wife Sally of Bethlehem; step-daughters Gloria Bolton and her husband Michael of Nokomis, FL, Deborah Hutchinson of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren Kevin Emerich, Keri Donchez, Scott and David Bolton; great-granddaughter, Alanna. Ruth was predeceased by her brother Donald Shetron.
