Ruth E. Langley, 88, passed away Friday, June 16, 2011, at the Waters of Yorktown following an extended illness.
Ruth was born in Northern Delaware County on April 12, 1923, the second of three daughters to Floyd E. and Isca (Fisher), Abraham, and was a 1941 graduate of Royerton High School. She attended Ball State University.
Mrs. Langley was a Savings Counselor and an Assistant Treasurer for Muncie Federal Savings and Loan for over forty years until her retirement in 1984.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Marvin G. Langley, Muncie; a son Eric “Rick” Langley, Troy, Michigan; a grandson, Jason Scott Langley, Troy Michigan; two granddaughters, Jessica Ruth Langley, Troy Michigan, and Jacklyn Langley, Troy, Michigan; and a brother-in-law, John Towriss, Muncie.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Ann Louise Cline and Carolyn Sue Towriss.
