Ruth Cichy, 80, of Simsbury, formerly of Bristol, beloved wife of Henry Cichy, died Friday (January 4, 2008) at Hartford Hospital.
She was born February 2, 1927 in Bucksport, ME, daughter of the late Harold and Mae (Robbins) Norton. A longtime resident of Southington and Bristol, Ruth was employed at Superior Electric for 23 years until her retirement in 1989. She was a member of St.
Besides her husband, Henry, she is survived by her three daughters, Linda Oseychik and her husband, Robert of Simsbury, Wanda Downey and her husband, James of Wallingford, and Cheryl Cichy of Bristol; her four grandchildren, Scott Oseychik, Lisa Oseychik, Ryan O’Sullivan and Daniel O’Sullivan; several nieces and nephews.
