Ruth Coreen Sundling, aged 50, passed away on June 24, 2017 at her home in Brighton after suffering many years with aliments to her health. Ruth was born in Wheat Ridge Colorado on December 20, 1966 to the late Melvin Impson and Roberta Impson.
Most of Ruth’s earlier years were in Evergreen going to school and making lifelong friends. Ruth graduated from Fort Morgan high school in spring of 1985 and graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in summer of 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
In December of 1985, Ruth married David Simmons and had two beautiful
daughters with him. After Ruth and David separated she met her husband Kent Sundling and they were married from 1995 until the day of her passing, one week after their 22nd anniversary.
Ruth had many passions. She loved her cats, making jewelry when she could, her love of forensic science, but most of all she loved her family whether it be her siblings, her husband, her daughters and sons, or her grandchildren. She was a people person, loving to meet people and learn about their lives. This gave her many friends to share with.
Ruth was proceeded in her death by her parents Melvin and Roberta Impson, her brother Eddie Impson, and David Simmons her first husband and father of her two daughters.
Ruth is survived by her sister Gay and her husband Gary, brother Bob and wife Sally Impson, brother Davie and wife Tammy Impson; husband Kent Sundling; daughter Ausha and husband Thomas Michalek, daughter Alexis and husband Josh Harcourt, son David Sundling, son Eric and wife Deena Sundling; granddaughters, Ariel, Alaina, Symphony, Alissandra, Jaidin, Lilyann; grandson Kameran; and a number of other relatives and close friends.
