Ruth Clarice Pooley, age 93, formerly of Milford, beloved wife to the late Irving Pooley, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Milford Hospital. She was born on October 23, 1917 in Milford. Prior to her retirement, Ruth was a bookkeeper for many years for Rogers Chevron of Milford.
She is survived by her two daughters, Joyce E. Woike (George) of Hartland and Robin L. Richards (Bill) of Stratford, two sons, Richard A. Pooley (Annie) of Aston, PA and Robert I. Pooley (Carol) of Milford, six cherished grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Also, she is survived by two sisters, Evelyn Starbard of Trumbull and Joyce Libby of Warrington, PA.
