Mrs. Ruth Janet Bailey, 79, Rising Sun, IN. passed away at 6:05 AM, Saturday, January 10th, 2009 at Dearborn County Hospital, Lawrenceburg, IN.
She was the wife of Robert Bailey. Ruth and Robert were married on January 29 ,1949. Ruth was born in Newtown, OH on September 12, 1929, the daughter of the late Elmer and Cora (Tippenhauer) Chipman. She was a former member of the Ohio County Library Board and Extension Board. In addition to being a homemaker, Ruth also had worked at Shillitos, Dillsboro Co-op, Rising Sun Chair Factory and Valley Supply.
