Born February 6, 1954, in Norton, Kansas, Ruth was the daughter of Harold and Oneitta Craig Maley, both of whom preceded in death.
Ruth married and had two children, Justin and Jennifer Hamm. She worked as a float nurse, specializing in trauma and ICU at Genesis Medical Center in Davenport, Iowa. She felt blessed to have earned a BSN-RN degree. Ruth was president of the Student Nursing Association at Iowa Wesleyan College. She was active on the Board of Rehabilitation.
Ruth enjoyed her time with Mark Jarrard and her family.
Surviving are a fiancAC., Mark Jarrard, son and daughter-in-law Justin and Erin Hamm, and daughter Jennifer Hamm and her fiancAC., Joshua Smith, all of Logansport.
Grandchildren Hunter, Taylor and Dylan Hamm survive, the children of Justin and Erin. Jace Smith survives, the son of Jennifer and Joshua.
Mark Jarrard’s parents, Wayne and Wanda Jarrard, Atalissa, Iowa, survive.
