Ruth Ann (Hare) Wieckert, 85, of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away on April 16, 2021, at St. Francis Hospital, after a long illness.
She was born May 27, 1935, in Marion, Indiana, to Tennis L. and Kathryn Jane (Ellis) Hare. Ruth was a 1953 graduate of Marion High School and graduated in 1982 from Indiana State University, with a degree in social work. She was a member of Mount Pleasant Christian Church, in Greenwood.
Ruth is survived by her three children Terry (Debbie) Wieckert of Indianapolis, Debbie (Ken) Gregory of Greenwood, and Kathy Cantonwine (David Rowings) of Greencastle. Other survivors include a sister, Nancy Rheeling of Brownsburg, Indiana, niece Jane Burke of Brownsburg, Indiana, and nephew Don Burke of Pittsboro, Indiana. Ruth is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
