Ruth Ann Anderson, 57, passed away in Fort Walton Beach, Fla. on March 27, 2014. Born and raised in Marianna, Fla, Ruth Ann graduated from Marianna High School in 1975. She bought her first house in Marianna, but her pride and joy was her residence in Fort Walton Beach where she served on the beautification committee for 4 years after winning “Yard of the Month”.
Ruth Ann worked at Los Ponchos for many years under Connie Duncan as a waitress and also worked as a hair dresser for Hair Topix under Marla Dixon and Fantastic Sam’s. She enjoyed camping, art work, and gardening.
Ruth Ann is predeceased by her father, Harris G. Anderson (Sonny) and is survived by her loving husband, Howard Peregoy of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., brother, Matthew Anderson (Brenda) of Marianna, Fla., sister, Rebecca Keith (David) of Cape Coral, Fla., mother, Jo Ann Grubb Anderson of Marianna, Fla., brother-in-laws, Matthew Peregoy of Orange, VA., and Tony Peregoy of Lanett, AL.; sister-in-law, Jessica Vachon Peregoy (Stephen) of Tempe, AZ.; father-in-law, Howard G. Peregoy and mother-in-law, Florence McAlpine Peregoy of Orange, VA.; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
