Russell was a Police officer for DeMotte Police for 9 years and 20 years with the Jasper County Sheriffs Department where he was a Jail Commander and Reserve officer. He was a US Navy veteran, member of Indiana Sheriff Assoiciation and FOP.
Russell is survived by his loving children; Dawn Marie (William, Jr) Misch, Wheatfield, IN and Kenneth Michael Sanders, Valparaiso, IN; 3 Grandchildren, Trey, Alec & Olivia Misch.
