Russell Ray Feustel, age 51, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. He was born in Murray, Utah on May 17, 1970, to Rex Edwin Feustel (Muscatine, IA) and Rita Ann Uptegraff Feustel (Pittsburgh, PA). Russell grew up in South Weber, Utah and continued to live there for most of his adult years.

It was a well-known family saying that he was a mamma’s boy. Some of his favorite pastimes were talking to people, telling stories, listening to music, watching TV, and drawing pictures for those he loved. He especially enjoyed the great outdoors for deer hunting and fishing.  Russell was so proud of his rare lifetime hunting and fishing license.

Russell received his GED from Weber State University and attended Career Blazers Learning Center for other certificates of excellence. He drove trucks for both Stevenson’s Trucking and U.S. Xpress Enterprises, Inc. Russell was also an exceptionally talented artist.

He took immense pride in owning and operating his business Phat City Tattoo Co., located on Washington Blvd in Ogden, where he left his mark on many friends and acquaintances. Russell had a big heart for the homeless and the helpless and collected many friends along his life’s journey. Russell never married due to a relationship that left him with an unmendable broken heart.

Russell is survived by his two older brothers, Rex Charles Feustel and Robert Lee Feustel, both of Ogden, Utah. He is preceded in death by his father, Rex E. Feustel (died: August 28, 2018) and his recently departed mother, Rita A. Feustel (died: August 24, 2021).
