Russell Lee, 71, of Anderson, passed away on August 23, 2014 at Miller’s Merry Manor-Middletown. He was born on August 3, 1943 in Piggott, Arkansas and resided most of his life in Pendleton. Russell graduated from Hammond High School and Anderson College.

He was a retired art teacher for South Madison, Greenfield, and Hamilton Southeastern schools. Also he worked for Owens’ Oil Corp and was co-owner of Lee’s Theatrical Productions. He was a member of Pendleton Kiwanis Club and Steigerwalt Share Group. He enjoyed model trains, woodcarving, the St. Louis Cardinals, the Cincinnati Reds, and most of all spending time with his family.

Russell is survived by his loving spouse whom he married June 14, 1970, Darlene (Owens) Lee; children, Chad O. (Susan) Lee and Marcie J. (Matthew) Greenlee; grandchildren, Cassidy Lee, Jodi Lee, Logan Greenlee and Katie Greenlee; brother, Dr. James (JoAnna) Lee; nieces, Debbie Smith and Jana Buffington; In-Laws, Jim and Marcia Ice; and nephew, Michael C. Ice. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. James R. and Albertine Lee.
