Russell Lamar Scheivelhud, 81 of Rock Spring, GA, went to his Eternal resting place on Saturday, December 17tht, 2022.
Russell was born in Rossville, GA and was raised in the North Georgia and Chattanooga areas. He graduated from Lakeview High School and was a loving and dedicated husband for 60 years. Russell and Peggy lived in Rock Spring for over 40 years and was of the Baptist faith.
Russell was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Peggy Burrows Scheivelhud; parents, Charles and Mae Scheivelhud; siblings: Charlotte Ruth Stoner, Bobby Scheivelhud, and Jesse Scheivelhud; nephews: Lamar Stoner and Greg Hatfield.
Survivors include his aunt, Norene; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members; friends: Rick (Phyllis) Potts, Grady (Yvonne) Bingham, Jeff (Connie) Potts, and Robert (Deborah) Kelley.
