Russell E. Klein, 97, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, passed away, Saturday, April 10, 2021 in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on September 8, 1923. Russell spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was united in marriage to Betty Lou Gardiner Wright on August 31, 2007 on Crown Lake in Horseshoe Bend. Russell served our country in the United States Army in the 101st Airborne. During his working years he was the Finance Director for Oregon State University. Russell was a member of the 1st Assembly of God Church in Horseshoe Bend.
Russell is survived by his wife, Betty Lou Klein of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; sons, Robert Calvin Wright and wife Arlene of Maine and Mike Wright and wife Corrina of Maine; four granddaughters; one grandson; 11 great grandchildren; cousin, Donald Nelson; nieces, Susan Holland and Patricia Loeber and special friend, and Paula Payne.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Russell Klein, Bobby John Wright and Timothy James Wright; first wife, Gertrude Klein; parents and brothers, Vernon Klein and Daniel Klein.
