Russell Eugene Groover, 85, of Anderson, passed away on January 3, 2020, at Countryside Manor Health & Living Community.
He was born on August 28, 1934, in Elwood, Indiana and resided most of his life in Anderson. Rusty graduated from Anderson High School. He had worked as a plastic mold maker for Guide Lamp Division of General Motors for 35 years. Rusty enjoyed bowling, cornhole, dog racing, boating, and Euchre. He is survived by his loving wife whom he married, November 21, 1981, Joan (Hartley) Groover; daughters, Robin Williams and Deborah (Daniel) Trevino; step-sons, Scott (Kelly) McCune and Kent (Cherie) McCune; siblings, R. Bruce Seal, Jerry (Pat) Phagan, Dolores Campbell, and Jennifer Johnson; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Rusty was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Groover and Pleiades May Seal; son, R. Douglas Groover.
