Russell was born on November 9, 1965 in Nevada, Missouri, the son of Esther Ellifrits (Martin) and William Warren Ellifrits. He was raised and educated in Nevada, Missouri and later in southern Idaho.
He married Dorrinda Donahue on September 16, 1990 in Wendell.
Russell is survived by: his wife – Dorrinda Ellifrits; his mother – Esther Martin; his son – Richard Ellifrits of Wendell; his daughter – Brittany (Zack) Page of Wisconsin; a special niece – Ashley Clayton of Twin Falls; two brothers – Richard Ellifrits of Jerome and Stephen (Debbie) Ellifrits of Twin Falls; his sister – Jennifer Delagarza of Arizona; four grandchildren – Brantley, Ivy, Lila and Jackson; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his father – William; his step-father – Merle Martin; and his brother – Phillip Ellifrits.
