Russell Edward Jose, 86 of Sandoval passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at Doctors Nursing Home in Salem. He was born September 6, 1929, in Highland, the son of Felton Jose and Mildred (Clayton) Jose.
He married Marilyn Mae (Watson) Pollard on July 4, 1971, and she survives.
In addition to his wife of 45 years, he is also survived by a son, Craig Jose of Centralia; three grandchildren; a brother, Felton Jose of Salem; a sister, Joyce Brown of Salem; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Terry Jose, and a sister, Patty Sloat. Russell served in the Salem National Guard. He worked at Centralia Car Wash for 20 plus years, and Russell and Marilyn owned and ran Happy Hour Laundry Mat for 43 years. He enjoyed bowling. Russell was an avid St. Louis Cardinal Fan. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.
