Russell “Dayne” Gray, 78 of Grafton, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020 at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born August 15, 1941 in Grafton the son of the late Harry and Thelma Kelso Gray. Dayne is survived by his wife of fifty four years, Velma Boyles Gray, they were married February 11, 1966.
Dayne is survived by three children, Cheryl Weaver and husband Bobby, Grafton, Russell Gray, II of Grafton, Tina Gray, of Huntington, two special grandchildren, Skylar Dayne Rucker and girl friend, Siera Gabbert, Ben Rucker and wife Devin both of Grafton, two sisters, Lenora Jean Tacy and Linda Markley both of Grafton one brother, Michael Gray and companion Gloria, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, three brothers, Charles “Roger” Gray and Richard Alvin Gray, James “Spike” Gray one sister Deborah Gray.
