Obituary of Russell A. Holtman
Holtman, Russell Allen, Sr. of Freeland, MI, went to be with the LORD on Monday, April 18, 2016, in Saginaw, MI. He was 86 years old. Russell was born in Saginaw, MI on October 8, 1929. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He married Arlene Coty on January 31, 1953; she survives him. Russell worked as a foreman for the City of Saginaw Water and Sewer Department for 36 years. He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church. Russell was involved in Right to Life and Knights of Columbus.
Surviving are his wife, Arlene Holtman; eight children and spouses: Russell (Loretta) Holtman Jr., Thomas (Marion) Holtman, Lori (Rolland) Rivette, Edward Holtman, Michael (Kelly) Holtman, William (Corinne) Holtman, Debra (Greg) Krzciok, Robert (Amy) Holtman; 24 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Russell is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Dottie (Curry) Holtman, and siblings; Marcolene, Curry, Warren, Don, Fred and Joann.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to St. Agnes Church, Stone Crest Assisted Living and Covenant Harrison.
