He was born in Fulton County, GA on February 25, 1947, to the late Talmadge and Mary Glosson Goss. Along with his parents, Dorsey as he was known by family, is preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda G. Freeman; grandson, Jaydon Metzger and brothers, Lamar Goss and Luther Goss. Dorsey is survived by his wife, Ruth Lewis Goss; daughter, Mary Beth Metzger and her husband Andy; grandchildren, Andrew Freeman, Zechariah Metzger, Jeremiah Metzger; great-grandchildren, Audrey Freeman, Amanda Freeman, Bentley Freeman and brother, Bobby Goss and his wife Ellen.
