Rudolph Sarate age 86, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2020, at the Brennity Assisted Living Facility, Viera, Florida.
He was born on August 23. 1934 in New Yok City to the late Josephine & Salvatore Sarate. Rudy was the youngest of three children, first born brother Salvatore, and second child sister Marilyn. He lived in New York up to the age of 17 when he enlisted into The Airforce. Rudy proudly served his country as a Staff Sgt. for 4 years.
1955 After leaving the Air Force Rudy met the love of his life Beatrice Arias. They married November 3, 1956, moved to New Jersey and one year later welcomed their first child Rudolph Jr born 1957, and second child, a beautiful baby girl Betty born
Rudolph worked at the World Trade Center for Mitsui OSK for forty years and then for the State of New Jersey for eleven years. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus in New Jersey and volunteered at their many functions.
Rudy suffered a tragic loss when his son Rudolph Jr died 2005 of Cancer. But one year later welcomed a beautiful great granddaughter Kaylee, then five more Great Grandchildren, Isabella, Grace, Olivia, and twins Christian, and Benjamin. Rudy and Bea decided to make a life change when Rudy became ill and moved to Florida in 2014.
So many things in his life seemed of little significance at the time they happened but then took on a greater importance as he got older. He is taking with him precious memories that have more value the gold and silver. So at the end remember, do your best and make something amazing out of your life and never stop smiling.
Rudy will be greatly missed by his wife of 64 years, Beatrice Sarate, Daughter Betty Shope (Ed), Grandson Rudolph Sarate lll (Alissa) six Great Grandchildren Kaylee, Isabella, Grace, Olivia, Christian, Benjamin, along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
