Rudolph “Rudy” P. Dinges, 88, of Thornton passed away on August 15, 2015 in Fort Lupton. He was born January 19, 1927 in Schoenchen, Kansas to Paul and Clara (Randa) Dinges. He moved to Brighton in 1937 where he met his wife Kathryn Weingardt. They were married on April 25, 1949 in Denver. They lived in Brighton until 1976, when they moved to Thornton.

Rudy served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict from 1953-1955. After he was discharged he went to work for Continental Coffee until he retired in 1979.

Rudy is survived by his children, Tim (Debbie) Dinges of Brighton and Terry Robertson of Denver; siblings, Celestine Dinges of Thornton, Mary Werth of Kansas City, Kansas and Patrick (Betty) Dinges of Brighton. Other survivors include three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous other family members.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Clara, wife, Kathryn, brothers, Alois, Isadore, Leonard, Silvester, Ambrose, Gerome and Ralph Dinges; sisters, Louise Weber, Irene Pfiefer, Germaine Hoffman and Frances Kindsfather.
