Rudolph R. Rudy Pacetti, 80, of LaSalle, died October 13, 2006, at Illinois Valley Community Hospital, Peru, where he had been a patient for 10 days following an extended illness.
He was born July 3, 1926 in LaSalle to Antonio and Pierena (Bacidore) Pacetti. He worked at Manley Brothers in Troy Grove for 28 years. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theatre of Operations in World War II. He married Helen Greathouse on January 23, 1971 in Grace United Methodist Church, LaSalle. He was a member of Seatonville Congregational Church, and the LaSalle VFW. He is survived by: his wife, Helen Pacetti of LaSalle; 1 step-daughter, Sheila (Joseph) Aldridge of Jonesboro, Illinois; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; 1 step-son, Dennis Keen; 3 brothers; and 1 great granddaughter, Alicia Aldridge.
