Memorial Services for Ruby Monita Hoffer, age 85, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Monday, July 11, 2022, will be held, Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 11:00 am at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.Visitation will be Tuesday, July 26, 2022 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at McDonald Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.Father Jey Jordan will officiate the service.A native of New Orleans, LA, she was a loving and devoted wife and mother. Ruby loved to cook, camping, boating, and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Ruby was a past member of three RV Clubs. She and Ray loved traveling the country. Ruby will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.She was preceded in death by her parents, Zachary Veto Rusheed, Sr.and Beatrice Rusheed; her sisters, Sadie Rusheed, Dainte Jane Rusheed, Nazita Rose Rusheed, and Gemelia Rusheed; and brothers, Joseph Albert Rusheed, Zachary Veto Rusheed, Jr., King Solomon Rusheed, and Emanuel Rusheed.Left to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted husband of 63 years, Raymond Lane Hoffer; and daughters, Holly Hoffer and Jill Hoffer.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
