Ruby Miller Barrineau, 73 of 110 Front Street, Danville died Friday June 29, 2012 at Danville Regional Medical Center. She was born April 15, 1939 in Pittsylvania County to the late Frederick Joseph Miller and the late Elva Rowland Miller. Mrs. Barrineau was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She worked for Offray as a Ribbon Maker. Mrs. Barrineau is survived by three daughters; Sylvia Strader of Danville, Angela “Tina†Haley and husband Mike of Axton, VA and Tamatha “Tammy†Barrineau of Danville: two sons; Frederick Crabb and wife “Sheila†of Keeling, VA and Joseph Crabb and wife “Shelley†of Dryfork, VA: nine grandchildren; Ruby East, Sylvia Milam, Jonathan Strader, Joe Paul, Josie Crabb, Clarissa Yeatts, Patrick Yeatts, Favorite grandchildren which were dear to her heart were Morgan Jones and Nick Barrineau: six great-grandchildren: one special friend Keith Shellhorse and one special friend Linda Hawker which brought her Holy Communion. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by one son Charles “Buster†E. Crabb: one brother; Ernest Barbour and two grandsons Patrick David Strader and Frederick Crabb II.
