Ruby Marie Hodson Krieg, 87, Alexandria, died November 26, 2008 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana after an extended illness. She was born September 4, 1921 in Morgantown, Indiana, and lived in Madison County most of her life.
Ruby owned and operated the White Corner Restaurant in Anderson. She was a member of the Tavern Association and the V.F.W.
Survivors include her daughter, Nancy & husband, William Wasson of Alexadria; brother, Billy Paul Haskett & wife, Wanda of Anderson; sister, Beatrice Martin & husband, Arthur of Anderson; a special niece, Kay Richardson & husband, Dale of Anderson; grandchildren, Rhonda Bledsoe, Richard Stowe, Ryan Stowe, Billie Sayers, Mariam Baker, Karen Vasquez, Tina Niles, Nancy Heiglle, Robert Haskett, James Atkisson, Nathan Atkisson, Aaron Atkisson, Terry Haskett, Donnie Haskett, Feleisa McCraken, Paula Haskett, Tracey Haskett; and many great grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Jennings, the sixth floor staff at St. John’s Hospital and the staff at Alexandria Care Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orpha & Florida Hodson, two brothers, five sisters and one granddaughter.
