Ruby M. Phillippe, 74, of Vincennes, passed away at the Good Samaritan Hospital Wednesday April 4, 2018 at 2:30 PM.
Ruby was born November 13, 1943 in Vincennes the daughter of Albert and Velma Springer Johnson. She formerly worked at Progress Laundry and various restaurants as a cook. She attended the Salvation Army and was a devoted mother. Her philosophy in life was to treat everyone she met with the respect that she wanted.
Ruby is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Norton, and her husband Randy of Terre Haute, IN and Dana Shelton, and her husband Roy of Oaktown, IN. Her grandchildren, Gracie Shelton, Christopher Poff, Jamie Poff, Charles Poff and Maylee Shelton. A sister, Mary Kennedy also survives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Raymond Springer and a nephew, Albert Kennedy.
