Ruby I. Craig Sylvester, 81, Anderson, passed away April 26, 2009 at Rawlins House, Pendleton after a brief illness. She was born June 28, 1927 in Olive Hill, Kentucky, and resided in Anderson most of her life. Ruby retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 34 years of service.
She was a 60 year member of Madison Park Church of God where she was a Sunday School teacher, Wedding Coordinator, Pre-school teacher and church volunteer.
She is survived by her son, Phil Sylvester of Anderson; daughter, Myra & husband Larry Willis of Mooresville; grandchildren, Jeff & Tammy Sylvester, April & husband Jimmy Brown and Jodi Willis; great grandchildren, Zach Sylvester, Bryce and Brody Brown; close family, Mr. & Mrs. Dennis McClelland and Mona Williams.
She was preceded in death by her husband whom she married September 11, 1949, Kenneth Sylvester who passed away July 8, 1993; parents, Arthur & Mae Craig; several nieces and nephews; and close friend, Romance Eckart.
