Ruby Gladys Mayle, 74, of Salem passed away early Saturday, November 19, 2011, at her residence following a very extended illness. She was born in on Bear Track, WV on February 22, 1937. Her parents, Clarence Odis Lewis and Ethel Jean Murphy Lewis preceded her in death.
Her parents, Clarence Lewis and Ethel Murphy Lewis preceded her in death as well as her husband, Elmer Mayle,; Daughter, Darlene Rheinhardt and brothers Orville Lewis, Sherman Lewis and Jimmy Lewis. ( Jimmy’s companion, Debbie Hartley survives). Also preceding her were sisters-in-law, Louise Lewis Nicholson, Arlene Lewis, and Laura Lewis and a step-daughter, Louise Wallace Ruby is survived by her children, Keith Rheinhardt and wife Kristena , Randall Rheinhard and companion Sonia Cade, David Rheinhardt, Tami Rheinhardt and companion Robert Ramsey, and Vickie Mayle and companion, Curtis Myers. Step-children include Dwayne Mayle and wifeLinda, of Salem, Timothy “Greg” Mayle (Marie Pedrick) of Florida, Christina Mayle , of Salem and stepsons-in-law, Allen Wallace and Mark Meredith. Her daughters, Darlene Rheinhardt and Louise Wallace preceded her in death. Her surviving siblings are Earnest (Arlene) Lewis of Florida, Argyel (Dora Jean) Lewis of Salem, Kenny Lewis of Clarksburg, Francis ( Bill) Webb of Salem and sister in law, Ermilee and Cecil Elder of Virginia. Also surviving are many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Ruby was employed at Salem and Louie (Princess Glass) for many years.
As requested, the body will be cremated and buried near her late husband at Wolverton Cemetery, Wiseman Run, near Salem.
