Ruby Florence Cravens, 79, of Indianapolis passed away on the morning of January 13, 2018. She was born on July 1, 1938 to Gaines Oliver and Hannah Elsie McKenzie Sr. in Morgan County, Kentucky. She married Willis B. Cravens on January 22, 1954 and he precedes her in passing. Ruby enjoyed cooking, crocheting, knitting, reading, watching movies especially those in black and white, decorating for the holidays and listening to the music of Elvis Presley.
Ruby is survived by her only son Mike (Barb) Cravens; two grandsons Lucas (Kelle) Cravens and Robert (Kayla) Cravens; seven great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters Regina Lee Wyatt, Emma Jane Chumbley, Harold Raymond Patrick, George Roland McKenzie, Samuel Daniel Patrick and Brenda Gayle Patrick; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in passing by her siblings William Francis McKenzie, Wilma Agnes Lewis, Gaines Oliver McKenzie Jr. and Patricia Ann Patrick.
