A skilled crafter, Ruby decorated her home with her creations in quilting, basketry, ceramics, oil and water color paintings, crocheting and doll/stuffed animal making. Having a large family, she was also an excellent cook and a generous hostess to company making sure they could never leave without having something to eat.
