Ruby B. Ferrebee, 87, of Elk Lick Road near Salem passed away Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Salem Care and Rehabilitation. She was born on Ralph’s Run in Doddridge County on September 25, 1924, the daughter of the late Bijah and Susan Mae Anderson Dotson. Ruby attended Doddridge County schools and in November 1943 was joined in marriage to Orval Ferrebee who died on July 6, 2002. She was also preceded in death by their son, Robert Orval Ferrebee and her brother, Robert Nelson Dotson. Surviving is her daughter, Mary Arbogast and husband William of Elk Lick, a sister Viola Bird Craig of Pine Grove; four grandsons, Robert Ferrebee and wife Nicole of Alabama, Jason Ferrebee and fiancé, Kristy of Parkersburg, Shawn Ferrebee and wife Cassie of Parkersburg and Brandon Arbogast and companion Katy of Cairo, WV; daughter-in-law Johnnie Ferrebee of Parkersburg and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Ferrebee was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and gardening. She attended Elk Lick Church of God.
