Ruby Aida Benvenuto (nee: Smith) passed away at the Riverview Estates in Riverton on Thursday at the age of 89. She was born in Beverly and remained a longtime resident, before moving to retirement community in Mt. Laurel and then Riverton. She worked as a sorting clerk for McMillian Publishing in Riverside before her retirement. Upon her retirement she took great pride as a homemaker.
Everyone who knew her would attest, no home was more sparkling clean. Ruby was a loving and devoted wife to her beloved Peter “Pete”. Ruby “Mom-Mom” adored her grandchildren and great-grandkids speaking about them with great enthusiasm and pride. Whether it was summers down the Jersey Shore, winter in the Pocono’s, or just locally otherwise, Ruby enjoyed dining and spending time with friends and family.
Daughter of the late George and Rena, she is survived by her loving husband of 67 years Peter; daughter Marsha Cliver of Marietta, GA; grandchildren Gary (Monica) Olaff, Dennis (Christine) Olaff of Florence, Jennifer Quiq of Wildwood, Jessica (Christopher) Clark of Marlton; great-grandchildren: Lacey, Jordan, Hannah, Ryan, Caitlyn, Ashley, Natalie and many friends.
