Ruben “Gibbers” Saavedra, age 49, a resident of Jarales, passed away on, June 27, 2019. Gibbers was a member of the Catholic Church. He was also involved in many activities in the community involving local FFA and 4-H any chance he could. Gibbers loved his auctions and many loved hearing his auctioneering. His everyday life involved buying and selling livestock. Any sale barn ring he found, he felt at home. Ruben loved his mom, daughters, and family with every bit of his heart. He gave his all and will be dearly missed by family and community. Ruben is preceded in death by his brother, Robby Saavedra, and in arms of loving family. He is survived by his mother, Ruth Olivarez; father, Ruben Saavedra; brother, Richard Saavedra; daughters, Justine Saavedra, Shyanne Turley and Teddee Saavedra. Ruben is also survived by several aunts and uncles.
