Ruben M. Cruz Jr., age 53, of Harlingen, Texas, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born December 28, 1967, in Harlingen, TX to Ruben D. Cruz Sr. and Laurentina Muniz Cruz.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ruben D. Cruz Sr., Reducindo and Belen Cruz from Primera, TX and Jesus and Carmen Muniz from San Benito, TX.
He leaves to cherish his beautiful memory his loving wife, Bellanira Cruz; daughters, Krystal Lizette, Marli Philips,; two sons, Ruben Cruz III and Crucefex Jose Cruz; step-son, Julio Segura, step-daughter, Samantha Segura McDonald, three granddaughters and one grandson; mother, Laurentina M. Cruz; three brothers, Hector Cruz (Maria), Raul Cruz (Claudia), and Matthew Cruz; two sisters, Emma Cruz Vasquez (Salvador) and Betty Ann Cruz (Raul); along with numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles whom he loved dearly.
