Ruben Edward Lambert, 60, of Boerne passed away on May 20, 2019 at his home with his loving wife.
Ruben Edward Lambert was born on August 19, 1958 in Boerne to Joe Garza of Luling and Manuela Rodriguez Garza of San Antonio, and later adopted by Francis Edward Lambert of Bay City, Michigan in his union to Manuela Rodriguez Lambert. Ruben married Jennie Eleanor Woodall of Austin on May 25, 1995 in Arlington. Together, they have no children but Ruben counted his stepdaughters as his own. Ruben enjoyed many hobbies including reading and studying astronomy. He was also a ham radio operator and a University of Michigan superfan, and was most proud of his A+ computer certification. He worked for over 20 years in loan operations at Wells Fargo in San Antonio.
Ruben is survived by his wife of 24 years, Jennie Eleanor Lambert of Austin; his stepdaughters, Robin Allen of Brownwood and Romaine Perez of Austin; his brothers, Joe Garza of San Antonio, Roy Garza of Helotes, and Ray Garza of East Lansing, Michigan; his sisters, Eva Mitchell of Boerne, Olie Miller of Wheeler, Michigan and Cora Salyer of Okemos, Michigan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ruben was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Garza, Francis Edward Lambert, and Manuela Rodriguez Lambert, and his brother, Pete Garza of Chula Vista, California.
