Mr. Whitehead was survived by his wife of 39 years, Kimberly Ann Whitehead;
He also left behind his mother, Betty Lou Whitehead; his son, and daughter-in-law, Joseph Elijah Whitehead and Valerie Lynn Whitehead, and three grandchildren, Timothy, Baylee, and Daniel Whitehead. He was preceded in death by his father, Royce Joe Whitehead, Sr. and his brother, Kenny Whitehead.
