Roy W. Springer, 92, of Hobbs, New Mexico, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, in Lubbock, Texas. Roy was born on April 20, 1931, in Dora, New Mexico, to A.B. and Lotus (Davis) Springer.
Roy married Jo (Gillian) on August 13, 1955, in Eunice, New Mexico. He was a disabled veteran having served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He also retired from the telecommunications industry after 40 years of service.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, his twin sister Lillian, and his brothers, Floyd and Edward. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, his son, Alan, his daughter, Donna, his grandson, Ryan (and wife Alicia), and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
