Roy Sharp Spears, 95, of Greenwood passed away on September 13, 2018. He was born on April 20, 1923 to the late Rolland and Mary (Sharp) Spears. Roy married Elva Mae Newport on March 28, 1953. He was employed for Eli Lilly Company working in quality control for many years, before retiring in 1986. Roy was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving in WWII.
