Roy Scott Haines, 64, of Keansburg, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel. Roy was born on October 24, 1957, in Orange, New Jersey and grew up in Hazlet, New Jersey, where he lived for most of his life. A few years ago, Roy settled in Keansburg. Before his retirement, Roy worked in the maintenance field for various companies throughout his life. He was also a proud United States Marine Corps Veteran. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
He was predeceased by his mother, Susanne (Rambo) Haines. Roy is survived by his adoring father, Richard Haines of Hazlet, his dear sister, Nancy Murphy and her husband, Jim, of Hazlet, his previous wife and partner, Karen Haines, and his grandchildren, Jacob, Abigail, Bobby, and Autumn. Roy also leaves behind his cherished nieces and nephew, James Murphy and his wife, Alison, and Caitlin “Ceejayy” Murphy, and his great nephew, James Murphy V, along with many special aunts, uncles, extended family, and friends.
