Roy Richard Miller, 81, a longtime resident of Amarillo, retiring in Great Falls, MT passed away Nov. 20, 2012, of congestive heart failure in Great Falls, MT.
Roy was born March 18, 1931 to Oscar and Stella (Brandenburg) Miller in Bonham, TX. He grew up and attended school in Amarillo where he married Patsy Dean Edwards on Dec 23, 1949 and enjoyed married life until her death in 1991. He was in the United States Naval Reserve (Seabees) and served2 tours in Vietnam. Roy was a 32nd degree Mason and Shriner.
Roy is survived by his daughters Denise Waltari and her husband George “Butch” of Great Falls; Maneta Lollar and her husband Dale of Arvada, CO, and Radean “Deanie” Hutter and her husband Lynn of Westminster, CO; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Patsy; infant son Roy Richard Miller, Jr.; sister Maxie Hawkins; brother Orville Miller, and companion Hattie Chamberlain.
Roy will be missed dearly.
