Roy Lee Middlebrooks of Kalamazoo, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, September 26, 2022, at the age of 87. He was born on March 27, 1935, in Tupelo, Arkansas, the son of the late George and Agnes (Morgan) Middlebrooks. Roy was one of six children who have all preceded him in death. Roy was married to Beverly (Schuster) Middlebrooks for fifty years, until her passing in 2005.
Roy is survived by his son Roy A. (Michelle) Middlebrooks of Mattawan, son Robert W. Middlebrooks of Paw Paw; three grandsons and two granddaughters; and three great-grandsons. Roy was a very hard working and frugal man. His love of fishing, auto racing, auctioning, and sweets will be remembered by those who knew him best.
