Roy Lee McCallister, 78, a devoted husband, loving father, and grandfather was welcomed into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior on February 25, 2022. He was born on September 19, 1943, to Chester and Kathryn (Wilson) McCallister in Logan, West Virginia.
Roy is survived by his faithful and loving wife of 39 years, Saundra McCallister; his daughters, Cynthia (McCallister) & Stephen Fischer, Melissa McCallister & Chris Keith, and Sarah (McCallister) & JD Hardin; his sister, Kathy; his grandchildren: Brandon Moon, Hope(Fischer) & Bernhard Wolmarans, Hallie (Fischer) & Trey Lagasse, Evan Fischer, Emma Hardin, and his great-grandson Bryton Moon.
Roy is preceded in death by his father Chester McCallister, his mother Kathryn (Wilson/McCallister) Fairbanks, his brother Billy Ray McCallister, and his stepfather Ralph Fairbanks.
Roy was very much loved and will be very missed by so many who knew him, but we know he will live on in our hearts until we are reunited in heaven.
