Roy Henry Ervin, 89, beloved husband of Joan (Hrivnock) Ervin, his wife of over 60 years, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 6, 2020.
A lifelong Fairfield resident, he attended St. Thomas School and Fairfield Preparatory School. He graduated from Fairfield University and Boston University Law School.
Roy was a self-employed attorney in Fairfield for over 60 years, working with his son Roy Jr. for over 30 years as Ervin and Ervin. He served two terms in the Connecticut General Assembly (1968-1972).
