Roy E. Shepperd, 68, of Anderson, passed away on November 6, 2020.

He was born on April 8, 1952, in Betsy, Kentucky and resided most of his life in Anderson. Roy graduated from Pendleton Heights High School. He served his country in the United States Army, and served one tour during the Vietnam War. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of service, was the owner and operator of P & R Trucking for 25 years, and was a co-owner of Country Crossings in Markleville. He was a member of AMVETS, the VFW, and the UAW #663. Roy loved to work in his yard and garden, but most importantly he loved to spend time with his family and friends.

Roy is survived by his loving wife, Patty (McClurg) Shepperd; daughters, Zella (Brian) Fulp, Barbara Shepperd, Rachael (Trevor) Smith, and Lola (Rodney) Dobbs; favorite four-legged daughter, Marly; grandchildren, Joey Moss, Landon Chappell, Trenton Dobbs, Devon Heichel, Brandon Dobbs, Shelby Fulp, Zander Fulp and Brian Fulp, Jr.; and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his siblings, Barb (Steve) Lynn, Jean Sanders, Stella (Jack) Broughton, Helen (Ronnie) Fairchild, Elaine Wilhem, Kenny (Jenny) Shepperd, Sandy Dawes, Lloyd (Rhonda) Shepperd, and Lisa (Jimmy) Zavogionnis; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Winnie Shepperd; siblings, Sue Humble and Billy Shepperd; and mother-in-law, Margaret Steger.
